2024 The SERPENTS Semillion

2024 The SERPENTS - A dry Sémillon from The Bavarian Lion, a 30-year-old vineyard in Knights Valley. Grapes are hand-harvested then fermented with indigenous yeasts.  A portion was fermented on the skins, adding notable complexity. Aged 18 months on its lees in Tuscan terra-cotta amphora and neutral French oak barrels. Richness and brightness in perfect balance. A wine for immediate enjoyment or for cellaring.  Hand-dipped in beeswax. 250 cases produced.
